1. The base colour: I recommend red or a midnight blue. :)
2. ALLLLLL your glitter gear!
3. White nailpolish for the snowflake.
4. A TOOTHPICK.
Okok this is not as nice as those that you can find from the Internet out there.
But let's face it, as mindblowing as their nail art are, not every Tom, Dick and Harry can achieve the same results when attempted. I know cos I tried. And it turned out like crap.
So I'm offering an easier alternative for you guys who kinda suck at art, like me. :)
Sooooooooo.... here goes!
Step 1
Paint your base colour!
TIP: It is VERY important to let it dry thoroughly or else the snowflake will be carved into the red. Definitely not what we want, do we? D:
Step 2

The snow.
TIP: Painting the snow is easier than it looks. Just paint the top part, remove the excess nailpolish from the brush, and use the slightly dry brush to create dabs of snow.
Step 3
Use the toothpick to carefully dot a snowflake out!
Pretty sure you can do better than me and I only dot them out because it's so much easier than to DRAW a snowflake on. Not easy for shaky hands like mine!
TIP: Because you have so much going on at the big toe already, just do some simple accents
for the remaining little toes. I added a 'diamente' drop on the side of each little toe.
Pretty? Yes. Simple? YES YES YES.
Step 4

Finish off with topcoat!
You GOTTA have topcoat. Here, I chose a glittery one to add to the Christmas feel!
and..... VOILA!
Now where did I get my inspiration from, you ask?

Yes I was supposed to DRAW a perfect snowflake but... close enough? Hehe.
Here was my first and FAILED attempt:
More like a star? Less like a snowflake. :/
I even tried it on my sister and mommy! They're so nice to be my experimental specimens xD
I did the one on the right. It's basically plain snow on a cool winter night. I tried? But it looked really messy haha.
Hope you guys liked this. :)
Here's wishing you a.....
